Care for Life
Discarded when they age or acquire end of life health issues, these care for life, seniors and special needs Dals are often overlooked for adoption and foster care.
Once taken into our rescue, the needs each of the following Dals and countless ones before them are attended to. Our goal is to provide optimum care and dignity. Some of the Dals require minimal medical attention and some, a lifetime of treatments, medications and therapy. Thus exhausting our medical budget.
Joining our Dal Pal program can aid in funding the care for these special Dalmatians. If you are not in a position to foster or adopt and still want to help in some way, a monthly support contribution to the Dal of your choosing will greatly help.
Please take a moment and read the stories of these precious lives and how they came to Dal Rescue. They will surely touch your heart. If you would like to set up a Dal Pal sponsorship for one of these Dals, please contact Dalmatian Rescue at

Here I am just a day before my last lifesaving surgery. Doc gave my a very slim chance of survival after my bladder had burst. That was almost one year ago. Miss Pati took the risk of surgery and I am alive today to tell my story!
My name is Blue (for my ocean blue eyes) and I've been at Dal Rescue since 2000 where I was found at the city dump. It took Miss Pati two very stormy days and nights to catch me, but she was successful and I was very grateful. Along the years, I've had a history of bladder stones and have had a couple surgeries, been put on special diets and daily meds and closely monitored.
