| January And February Are Senior Care Months! |
|
| January and February have been declared "Care for a senior Dal" months. Dal Rescue has experienced a recent influx of senior Dals. They all need a place to stay even if short term. Most are healthy and fully vetted. All senior will go to foster care with everything they need, all the creature comforts, medications, beds, food, supplements, etc. They need love and compassion in their golden years and have much love to give. Please consider taking in one of these beauties. Please call Dal Rescue if you have room in your home and love in your heart for one of these special Dals. (305) 940-3320 |

Jack and Helena Need Medical Assistance

Update 9.12.2011 - Hi Everyone;
It's been a few weeks now, with 3 excellent foster homes, lots of good food and TLC, we are looking and feeling much better! I am going through my "slow kill" heartworm treatment and Helena's skin is getting better. I was so worried about my best friend Helena since she was so thin and sickly, but she is feeling better now. We will be coming down to Dal Rescue in about a week and need to find a new foster home while we completely recover. It would be great to stay together, but not an absolute. If you can find a place in your home and love in your heart for two sweet Dals like us, please let the folks at Dal Rescue know. They will soon be working on our transport and would like to know that we have a foster home to go to. Love, Jack.

Update 9.12.2011 - Hi All;
Please help little "Itsi", a tiny Chihuahua in trouble. Itsi found her way to the right place...to the home of one of our most loyal and dedicated foster moms and volunteers Deirdre. Itsi was rushed to the emergency vet after realizing she had been attacked by large dogs. Itsi suffered broken ribs and lacerations which required immediate lifesaving treatment and surgery.
Vino's Needs Medical Assistance

Vino here............although I am living large in my new foster home with Miss Maria and her family, I still have some ongoing health issues that may prevent me from being adopted into a forever home.
I became blocked several months ago and could not urinate. I was rushed to emergency surgery and now have to eat a special diet and take daily medications for the rest of my life. My foster mom also must take me to the Doc often for bloodwork and urinalysis to make sure my levels are in check. I am one expensive boy my foster mom says.

Update 09.07.2010:
Faith continues to do very well. Although facing heartworm treatment next week, this darling Dal has come a long way and is feeling great. Faith has stolen the hearts of many, made great strides in adjusting to three legs and has become the Dal Rescue mascot at Petco.
Faith recently met her biggest Facebook friend Jason for the first time and also met Jimmy from Petco who helped raise funds in the store for Faith's amputation.
