| January And February Are Senior Care Months! |
|
| January and February have been declared "Care for a senior Dal" months. Dal Rescue has experienced a recent influx of senior Dals. They all need a place to stay even if short term. Most are healthy and fully vetted. All senior will go to foster care with everything they need, all the creature comforts, medications, beds, food, supplements, etc. They need love and compassion in their golden years and have much love to give. Please consider taking in one of these beauties. Please call Dal Rescue if you have room in your home and love in your heart for one of these special Dals. (305) 940-3320 |

Roadtrip for Trooper and Freckles. Check out our travel pics!!!
As safe trip was had by all. Of course there were tears, many tears as little Trooper left the clinic in Orlando that cared so well for him. There was an obvious attachment by the doc and staff......... who couldn't get attached to this very special little pup? Trooper traveled well with companion Freckles who has now been reunited with brother Domino. Special thanks to Deirdre for bailing Domino and Freckles from the pound and getting them safely across the state to Christopher. And to Christopher who gladly drove the next leg to meet me.
Here are just some of our heroes spotted on the roads and in the skies...................... All transporters who help our cause do it from the goodness of their hearts for the animals. It's an all volunteer basis just like our entire organization. We are so appreciative of the countless miles logged by each of them who help us when there is a call to action. If there were a frequent miles program available, the following people would have racked up many and won................the award is the reward!!!!! Two paws up to Christopher and Deirdre. Even some of our adopted families have driven our precious cargo from one point to another............Tim and family, Alexis, Scott and Laura, Gail and Murray, Barb and Jeff, Wanda, Sandy and family and Tricia......you are tops! Not to outdo any frequent road miles earned..............you can sometimes see Scott in the friendly skies above with a spotted one or two! While obtaining his pilot license, Scott takes an occasional flight of mercy for those in need. We at Dal Rescue have grand dreams of one day owning our own plane so more lives could be saved in a more timely manner........we like to think of it as ''Dal Air''. Just imagine watching a spotted plane land at an airport near you. What a sight that might be! And of course, working behind the scenes and wearing many hats of this rescue cause are Brenda, Michael, Alice, Jim and Maria. Their tireless efforts make every rescue worth it. Thanks for all those overnight bed and biscuits, shuffling paperwork and medications, and all those collars, leashes and harnesses purchased from your own pockets! Our recent influx of Puerto Rico Dals was made possible by Steph and Nick who spent their vacation time in PR coordinating with the rescue folks the flight to freedom. Rico, Rumors, Secret, Nyesa and Romeo enjoyed their traveling companions! There are so many who transport for several rescues who have helped us over the years and for those kind folks, we say a very big thanks! With much appreciation, Mark and Pati.
