January And February Are Senior Care Months!
January and February have been declared "Care for a senior Dal" months.  Dal Rescue has experienced a recent influx of senior Dals.  They all need a place to stay even if short term. Most are healthy and fully vetted.  All senior will go to foster care with everything they need, all the creature comforts, medications, beds, food, supplements, etc.  They need love and compassion in their golden years and have much love to give.  Please consider taking in one of these beauties.  Please call Dal Rescue if you have room in your home and love in your heart for one of these special Dals.  (305) 940-3320

  • Care For Life/Extended Care
  • Intensive Care
  • Puppymill recovery
  • Pets At Risk Rescue
  • 'Mercy for Life' Rescue Program

Pati and Mark Oceanside with Dalmatian friends. We house, nurture and maintain orphaned, sick, injured, abused and deaf Dals and non-specific breeds in the areas mentioned above. Due to over breeding and vast popularity, Dalmatians have been labeled a misunderstood breed. Thus the reason we see so much abandonment and homelessness. While established in Florida, our rescue and placement efforts have become far reaching. Dalmatian Rescue networks has built relationships with other Dalmatian Rescues countrywide. Although our organization is not affiliated with any of these groups, we find it essential and beneficial in the rescue world to rely on contacts and information sharing. All pets taken into our care are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heart-worm tested, micro-chipped, etc. prior to placement into a new loving 'forever' home or foster care. All pets are evaluated on personality, temperament and adopt-ability and then placed accordingly. We have abandoned the kennel environment and now utilize foster homes. The pets live in home-like settings while learning house training, social skills and manners, which we believe make for a more adoptable pet. Pati and Mark at the beach with Dalmatian friends.

It is our hope and goal that the next home these pets find will be their last! Our job is never done — our Dals always need us — every single day. Please help us continue our lifesaving work, with a secure online gift today! Dalmatian Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill, not for profit organization. One hundred percent of your contribution goes to Dalmatian Rescue, Inc. No professional solicitor will retain any percentage of your contribution. Our Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services registration number is: CH10912. A Personal Message From Our Founder and Director

Pati and Mark Dane

The years have really flown by. Many years ago, we never thought Dalmatian Rescue would be so busy and so much in need. While rescuing the lives of Hanna, Buster, Alex, Carlie, Chelsea, Missy and many more, we longed for a spotted dog. Mark found Simone at a breeder going on 9 weeks of age. Because she had half a black face, Simone was considered 'flawed' and deemed undesirable therefore facing possible euthanasia. Needless to say, Simone came to live at our home and immediately took over. Her winning personality and huge smile won our hearts. Simone soon became our inspiration to utilize our God given gift of help and service to care for those of this specific breed in need. Mark and I have been so blessed with the compassion and capacity to care for the abused, neglected and unwanted. We have been fixing broken bones and mending shattered hearts for more than fifteen years now. Our beloved Simone left us on November 16, 2004 and waits for us at Rainbow Bridge.
