07.24.2020 – Update – Isaac is now free from the shelter!
Here’s Isaac!! He’s now free from the shelter in Batumi and heading to foster. Issac is so happy and will now get good food and gain some much-needed weight thanks to all who have donated. We still need donations toward Isaac’s care. We have a long way to go with boarding and vetting before he can fly to the US. We are grateful for all the caring people in Batumi helping us. We just had a video chat and was amazing to meet and share our compassion for the helpless with like-minded folks. It certainly takes a village.
Picked up running the streets of Batumi, Georgia, Isaac needs our help. Isaac needs proper vetting and a flight to freedom. While we wait for the borders to open in certain countries due to the COVID-19 restrictions, many kind-hearted people are making every effort to take care of his medical and daily needs. The shelter in which Isaac is currently staying can only hold him for 20 days. That time is running out. We are diligently networking with other countries for transport and flight options for Isaac’s pending trip to the US. Isaac sweet synchronistic moments brought me in this moment to find your story…… My husband a firefighter had a Dalmatian growing up. We are a family of four who are looking to adopt a dog to enjoy our large backyard and homeschooling active home life! We are a dog loving, animal loving, outdoor loving family who is so happy to come across your need for help!! Sweet Isaac at first I thought you were here just in Georgia and I told my husband well I’ll just go drive and pick him up. After looking more into the whole story I now understand your need for big love so we can fly you home! My prayer is that you will come to find home with us, your name is Isaac I believe in reference to Saint Isaac the Dalmatian. I wouldnt of known but I had to google Batumi Georgia… looking for your page after my phone died on my computer I googled Isaac the Dalmatian Batumi Rescue but to much of my surprise I was brought up religious information about your name. Raised Catholic I see your Saint Feast is celebrated on August 3rd HOW COULD THAT BE…. the Dalmatian Rescue posted a updated about you on AUGUST 3rd!
